A piece of good news is spreading nowadays. This is for the people who are building a new house. Or for those who are buying a brand new home. If you are one of them, you can benefit from a five-figure first time home buyers grants from the WA government. This is known as the First Home Owners Grant. For you to apply, you must know the application criteria.

You must be a natural person. You cannot qualify as a business or trust. You must be over the age of 18 at the date of your application. You must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status. And have not used the grant in the past. If you are qualified, WA Office of State Revenue will give you a one-off lump sum of $10,000 towards the costs of your new-built home.
